Our hospital operates on appointment basis, however should we be unable to accommodate a certain schedule we do accept “drop-offs”. Emergencies will always be seen by the first available veterinarian, and do not require an appointment. We are open Monday and Thursday 8:00am – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am – 1:00pm.
We are closed on Sundays, but a doctor is on call to handle your emergencies and patients will be seen by appointment only. Please note that doctors are not available weekdays from 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm except for emergencies.
For your convenience, “drop-off” appointments are available. A “drop off” means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, we will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
We do schedule appointments for surgery, dentistry, grooming and other procedures. When your appointment is booked, you will be informed about fasting or other necessary preparations. We ask that patients arrive for their appointment between 8:00 am and 9:30 am, unless your are told otherwise at the time of booking.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Interac, cash and personal checks.
Patient Arrival Policy
For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
